HIT GIGANTEN – COMPILATION SERIES SELLS OVER 1 MILLION
The
CD series „Hit Giganten“ now counts as one of the biggest successes in the
field of TV-driven compilations of the past years. Since 2003, when the first
“Hit Giganten” CD was released, over 1 million people have purchased the CDs. Until
today, 18 different themes have been released in this series. The producers of
the TV show “Hit Giganten” - which is broadcasted on SAT.1 - Constantin
Entertainment and Maxi Media, recently celebrated this success with all
relevant media partners.
On Saturday, January 21st, more than 3 million viewers tuned in to
the most recent episode “Hit Giganten – Hits of the 70ies”. The CD to this
show, that consists of about 40 70ies classics, was released on January 13th.
In 2006 six new themes will be broadcasted on TV and released on CD,
bestselling CD of the series last year was “Hit Giganten – Rock Songs”.
Uli Järkel, Senior Vice President Strategic Marketing at SONY BMG, comments the
